There’s one major pet peeve I have about essays when it comes to English class. It’s when your teacher/professor tells you to write something, yet gives you absolutely nothing to work with. Then when you have a one-on-one confrontation to talk about the topic you pick, you then get told it has to be been even narrower than the topic you picked, so then you’re just like ‘well fuck, maybe tHAT’S NOT A GOOD TOPIC TO WRITE ABOUT.’ and thus have to figure out a new topic, yet can’t think up ANYTHING.
